T for Tuesday - Feeding All Senses!

It's Tuesday and it's been a pretty good start! Unlike yesterday which scared me half to death awakened by the earthquake. What made this morning so good! Well, a picture tells a thousand words.
What's for breakfast!
I added some Mocha Cappuccino to my coffee (only half a cup) because I ran out of creamer and didn't feel like using the powder version. It was yummy! And to go with that ... a few thin mints! I was trying to be really good and only took 3 out and immediately put the rest away. If not I probably would have eaten one whole box.
See that book under the cappuccino can? Someone mentioned it to me and I found a used version and got it for $5 total. It's a hard covered book and the only thing used about it was the paper jacket's corners being just a tiny bit worn. It's a really nice book and I was so happy when it arrived in the mail!

Wild Flowers By Colour
I listened to an audio book that I had downloaded from the public library onto my Nexus (see my pretty blue Nexus in the link), flipping through the book and randomly copied some of the flowers.
Filled With Flowers
I could have typed some text in a layer, resized it and then rasterized the layer (after that I won't be able to edit the text anymore) all in Sketchbook Pro. But instead I did the text in Adobe Illustrator and use a different line (or stroke) style and exported the file in tiff format because that's SBP default file format. That took no time at all to do. I figured it would have taken me a lot longer to try to draw the different line thickness by hand in SBP. I am sure there are other way to do this. But I didn't feel like taking too much time to figure this out. I just wanted to start drawing my flowers.
I am thinking of flowers inside the letters and leaves outside ... or some doodle patterns. Well, I will see where this goes.
But now let me go join in the T Stands For Tuesday gang and see what others are up to.

  1. I saw some footage of the earthquake and was glad that there were no injuries or major damage-that I heard of. There are really beautiful images in that book.

Thanks for your visit on Tea Day--I have to confess, no, I didn't drink the green water, LOL!

    1. Yeah some of the software's learning curve can be pretty steep. I found that some good tutorials make a big difference. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. Guess that means the Girl Scouts have been around to see you (grin). You are a master at delaying gratification. I'd have trouble putting the rest back!

That's a stunning book you bought used. Very impressive images.

Thanks for sharing your 1/2 cup of coffee (grin) with us today, as well as your yummy cookies and new book.

  8. Good job with self control on the thin mints. We don't buy girl scout cookies because we suck at moderation. :)
