I was looking through my brushes in the Painter program and realized that Painter is now up to 13 (Painter X3) and I have 10 (Painter X). Since mine is a few versions behind, I could not do an upgrade. Can't justify buying a full version right now ($399 Ouch!). Actually can't justify upgrading ($199) either.
Well since I am posting, I might as well include the faces I did last week but have not posted. The baby in Day 18 had this really crocked smile that I don't think I quite captured it. Not sure what's up with the baby in Day 19. It was such a tight shot, so I couldn't tell. The kid in Day 20 was in a bath tub. I guess he didn't like to get wet! : ) The little girl in Day 21 was just the prettiest and those eyes were perfect. I couldn't see the hair in the photo and didn't want to just make something up. So I left it as is. It's looked a bit strange leaving it like that. I was trying to get different expressions. I was getting a little tired of just female faces. Funny that I found myself making the same facial expression as I was drawing them. Maybe that helped!

just joining t day :)
ReplyDeletelove your coffee cup, the drawings are great!
Thanks Nancy. Nice that you joined T-Day.
DeleteAny mug you show will be one I fall in love with. I agree that upgrades are difficult. I paid over $500.00 for PhotoShop back in 2000 when I needed it to meet a client's needs, and it's gone through so many upgrades I'd have to start over again. So I feel your frustration.
ReplyDeleteLove those faces. You do such good work and make the drawings look so adorable. Thanks for sharing both your lovely pink mug and faces for T(ea) today.
Thanks Elizabeth. Everything is so expensive. Let's not even start with upgrading phones!
DeleteIf it's not broke, don't fix it. I don't bother with upgrades very often unless i have a problem with the program. Your baby faces are really great!
ReplyDeleteYeah agree. Thanks Vicki.
Deleteone of my favorite mugs is an old white restaurant mug that's just plain white, but i do like your colorful mug drawing :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Pretty much all my dishes are white or blue. Too many mismatch dishes later, I decided to just go white.
DeleteI hear ya, a lot of my mugs are white as well, so I don't end up showing them on T Day either. I like your pink cup that you made. Unfortunately, I am running behind on visiting everyone's blogs, so instead of wishing you Happy T Day, I'll wish you a happy Wednesday! :)
ReplyDeleteAny day is a good day to visit. Thanks for stopping by Denise.
DeleteOatmeal and coffee was how I started my day today, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat faces! Happy belated T-Day! :)
Thanks Rita.
DeleteNothing wrong with a white mug but have to say, the pink one is cute! Your faces are wonderful, you have captured the characters wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteThanks ... love your work.
DeleteHi Myriam, thanks for the earlier visit and the nice comments.
ReplyDeleteCoffee in a plain white mug, still works for me LOL
Your faces are really good. Love the expression on day 21, made me smile!
Thanks for sharing them.
