Unreal Creature

Last day and last submission for AEDM. Didn't make it every day but did more than half of the days. Used an online tool to randomly scribble some shape and created an outline. The brush I used was furry and I left the fur for this guy. I used the Sketchbook Pro software to create my unreal creature. I liked him but not 100% because I think I had too much of "bear" in my mind when I was doing this.

  1. I find it hard to believe you do this digitally. He looks like you painted him. I am also glad I found your blog and let's congratulate ourselves for finishing!

  2. Thanks Vicki. Yes it is done digitally. I am too chicken to do it the traditional way you all do. Yup we should pat ourselves on our backs.

  3. Yay! 30 Days, congratulations! It's been quite an amazing experience and equally amazing to connect with such wonderful artists as yourself. It's interesting that you say you are too chicken to do the art the traditional way because I find doing it digitally way, way too intimidating! Love the bear - he looks like he can't believe he is so fuzzy! :)

  4. Thanks moongirl. Now that I look at him some more, he looked like he was airing out his armpits 'cause he's definitely not scaring anyone looking so fuzzy like that.

  6. Thanks Pauline. Maybe he is not airing out his armpits after all. Maybe he is going to give someone a hug. He's certainly not scaring anyone.
